To Our Members
Thank you for considering becoming a member of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC). On behalf of our Board of Directors, I would like to welcome you and your company. It is my distinct honor to lead the MDHCC as its Chairman of the Board and President. I am sincerely humbled, appreciative, and excited about MDHCC's vision, mission, and purpose, all of which are geared towards improving the lives of all Marylanders. Under my leadership, MDHCC's Board of Directors intends to deliver on MDHCC's strategic plan, goals, and objectives. We focus on keeping our members and sponsors working together towards improving Maryland's economy as prosperous, responsible citizens of our beloved State of Maryland.
We appreciate our members and work hard towards delivering a return on their investment, improving their name recognition, enlarging their customer base, encouraging brand loyalty, and improving their corporate visibility. We are willing to listen to our members' goals and objectives, needs and priorities, thus tailoring our entrepreneurship programs to better fit their own vision, mission, and purpose.
Our common ties provide insights into the American market, their purchasing power, and spending habits. Our networking events can help craft our members' ideal customer profile, lead generation, and sales opportunities helping to bridge the gap between our members and our sponsors to develop warmer sales opportunities and highlight specific products and services.
MDHCC's goal is to assist our members to increase their visibility in the community, maximize networking opportunities, make business contacts, acquire customer referrals, participate in MDHCC's events and programs, gain a voice in government contracting, increase their company's promotion and publicity, get help making important decisions, increase business awareness, encourage sponsors and members alike to do business with each other, and increase purchase of each other's products and services. Get known, get sales!
MDHCC offers annual, quarterly, and monthly events to give our members promotional opportunities. These events include our Annual Awards Gala that highlights our up-and-coming members as well as our most generous members; our Golf Outing that provides funding for academic and vocational scholarships for Hispanic/Latino students; then we have our Legislative Reception, our Quarterly Economic Breakfast, and our Quarterly Hispanic Business Showcase which introduces Hispanic/Latino businesses, their expertise, products, and services to our sponsors. Additionally, we hold entrepreneurship programs such as the Business Advocacy and Mentorship (BAM!) and the Monthly Members Meetup (3Ms) and our Executive Seminars (Talleres Gerencials).
We host many of our events at our headquarters at The Engineers Club of Baltimore, the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion, in Mount Vernon, Baltimore, Maryland. We look forward to seeing you there. It is imperative to continue receiving YOUR support and YOUR commitment to our mission. Everyone is needed, invited, and welcomed! ¡Bienvenidos a nuestra familia!
